Prized in Japan for its very flavorful juice, Sudachi is a cross of Mandarin Orange and Yuzu. The unique, spicy juice from golf ball size Sudachi fruit is used to flavor soups, fish dishes and even ice cream and other desserts.
Higher in Vitamin C than Lemons, Sudachi fruit is often picked green, when its flavor is most pronounced. This Hybrid Yuzu can be grown outdoors in regions with mild winters. It likes 1/2 day to full sun and well-drained soil. If growing it in a pot, in the winter place your plant in a well-lit room. Potting soil should be coarse, acidic, and well-drained.
