Monkey puzzle tree (Araucaria araucana) is an evergreen conifer tree native to mountainous regions of South America and grown as a unique landscape specimen in selected regions around the world. It has a much different look than most conifers.

Now endangered and on the IUCN red list of endangered species due to illegal felling activity.
